La Vergne has a population of 18,914. La Vergne, Tennessee
is one of the fastest growing communities in the state as well as the country.
In the past decade or so it has gone from having a population of 7,000 to a
population of over 18,000. That is a 14% population increase. Part of the reason
for the increase is La Vergne's low level of city property tax, which is some
of the lowest in the state of Tenessee.
La Vergne is home to the largest industrial park in the state. It also has
the largest subdivision in the state. La Vergne has some very old farm houses
that date back to the turn of the century. There are also several new houses
and subdivisions being constantly built. The location of La Vergne makes
it one of the best places to live in the Nashville area. La Vergne is perfectly
situated between Nashville and Murfreesboro.
La Vergne is ideally situated to provide enough land for several flourishing

lake are a minutes drive from downtown La Vergne. The shoreline of Percy
Priest Lake stretches for 22 miles.
La Vergne is only a few miles from both Nashville Airport, and Smyrna Airport.

three elementary schools and one high school which provide the highest quality
