The city has an 18-hole municipal golf course, The Legacy, located on Oakland
Road.
Officials recently renovated the town square and are working on a greenway
that will cross the city from J. Travis Price Park on Blackwood Drive to
near NorthCrest Medical Center, the town's only hospital, on Highway 431
South.
J. Travis Price Park features walking trails, a small lake, covered picnic
shelters and other picnic benches, a model airplane field, softball and baseball
diamonds, soccer fields and playground equipment.
The city is also home to a playground designed by children at Garner Street
Park on Garner Street. The park also features tennis courts, two baseball
diamonds and picnic tables.
Robertson County's newest city, Coopertown, was incorporated in 1996. It
is the largest city in the county in land area, encompassing 25 square miles.
Coopertown's close proximity to Interstate 24 makes it an attractive bedroom
community to both Nashville and Clarksville
